Times Online a appris que George Lucas avait autorisé la production de Star Wars: A Musical Journey, une relecture de la saga d'Anakin et Luke Skywalker, où l'histoire des 6 films sera condensée en 90 minutes d'extraits projetés, de narration en direct par des acteurs et de musique performée sur scène par 86 musiciens du Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. La première de Star Wars: A Musical Journey aura lieu le 10 avril 2009, au O2 Arena de Londres.
Ce spectacle a tout l’air de vouloir reprendre en version « live », la compilation parue sur le DVD-complément de la BO de « Revenge of The Sith » en 2005. Bonne idée, car c’était une assez bonne synthèse musicale de la Saga!
